Joint Secretary, Dr. Yasir Yusufali Rawjee holds a bachelor’s degree in science from St. Xavier’s College, University of Bombay and a bachelor’s degree in science (technology) from University Department of Chemical Technology, University of Bombay. He also holds a PhD in chemistry from Texas A&M University, U.S.A. He has over two decades of industry work experience.

He was the head of global API operations at Mylan Laboratories Limited. He was also the Senior Vice President at Matrix Laboratories limited, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Glenmark life sciences, a pharmaceutical company. He leads the overall operations and responsible for the overall business strategy.

He is actively involved in community and charitable activities related to healthcare and education.
